Het onderzoek en de ontwikkeling (R&D) van de Superbike swingarm is een systematisch proces waarin wij samen met Chassis Factory nieuwe constructies onderzoeken. Dit proces is essentieel voor innovatie, om concurrerend te blijven en te voldoen aan de veranderende eisen van de motorsport. 

Chassis Factory heeft de mogelijkheid om torsie- en laterale flexibiliteit van een achterbrug te vergelijken. De meting (zie grafieken) werd uitgevoerd tussen de standaard Kawasaki ZX10R achterbrug en de Chassis Factory Superbike achterbrug. De metingen hebben ons inzicht gegeven in de kenmerken tussen de twee versies. Het ontwerp van de Chassis Factory Superbike achterbrug resulteert in 34% meer laterale flexibiliteit, wat zorgt voor meer grip bij een hellingshoek. De torsiestijfheid is met maar liefst 45% toegenomen ten opzichte van de standaard Kawasaki achterbrug. Dit heeft tot gevolg dat de handel baarheid toeneemt wanneer de motorfiets van richting verandert.

Research & development Superbike swing arm
The research and development (R&D) of the Superbike swingarm is a systematic process in which we investigate new constructions together with Chassis Factory. This process is essential for innovation, to remain competitive and meet the changing demands of motorsport.

Chassis Factory has the ability to compare torsional and lateral flexibility of a swingarm. The measurement (see graphs) was performed between the stock Kawasaki ZX10R swingarm and the Chassis Factory Superbike swingarm. The measurements have given us insight into the characteristics between the two versions. The design of the Chassis Factory Superbike swingarm results in 34% more lateral flexibility, which provides more grip at lean angles. The torsional stiffness has increased by as much as 45% compared to the standard Kawasaki swingarm. This results in increased handling when the motorcycle changes direction.
